How cool is this table runner!

I saw this on U Create today when I was playing with Google Reader.  I was playing with Google Reader becasue I read Meylah who worte a blog about RSS Feeds and recommended using Google Reader.  So now I'm going through my bookmarks and adding them to Google Reader.   I can't believe I didn't use GR before.

Busy Bee

May was busy and June is set to be the same!

I'm off to Billycart Markets, Sydney Only 100% Handmade Childrens Market, on 27 June.  There is a $2 door fee which goes to the Variety Club.  This time the market will be from 9am-2pm and is again at the Lakes Parish Hall, 21 Lagoon Street, Narrabeen

In July I'll be at my first Poppyseed Markets on 11 July from 10am-3pm at St George PCYC, 9 Ador Ave Rockdale, which I'm sure will be exciting and a little closer to get to for family and friends. This market caters for all ages and also has a boutique range of stall holders.

I had the delight of being listed in MadeIt's Must Haves in May and in this Treasury by Knits and Pretties this week.

The following items are all custom creations I've made in the last month.  As you can see I've been busy.

Little Wise Owl

A big THANK YOU to Beckie Little Wise Owl for their donation of an Owl Softie and a Babushka Girl Rattle., this has been added to the hamper the Shoalhaven Group of the Australian Breastfeeding Associations' will be raffling in May/June.

The Owl almost didn't make it into the hamper because Miss H (17 months) decided it was hers and after lots of tears she let him go so I could finally put the hamper together.

Beckie is a lover of retro fabric and doilies - just like me.  I've admired her wears a few times on FB and I finally got to see her wonderful wares up close when my fabulous pin cushion and her donations arrived last week.

Over the weekend Little Wise Owl released a new range of tote bags and purses - like the rest of her creations they are in her quirky-chic style.  Now all I have to do is decide what I'm going to buy next.

The Shoalhaven group is currently raising funds to buy a new breast pump which they can hire out at very reasonable prices to breastfeeding Mums in the Shoalhaven area.

Breast Pumps have come along way in the last 10 years and our old one wasn't up to scratch, why would you hire our big old single electric pump when there are smaller, lighter double models on offer!  Most ABA Groups have breast pumps for hire, the funds from the hire is usually used to run breastfeeding Community Education seminars and Breastfeeding Classes for expectant mothers and there partners.

Please note:  I am a member of the Shoalhaven Group of the Australian Breastfeeding Association
